Many of our providers accept new patients. Book Now.

We require at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel your appointment. If an appointment is missed or cancelled within 24 hours, you will be charged $50.

We accept personal checks and credit cards.

We offer billing payment plans based upon individual situations. If you need to set up a payment plan, please contact our billing department at 203-884-6043.

All appointments vary in time depending on circumstances for your visit. Each appointment will begin with a medical assistant reviewing your medical history. For general dermatology conditions and consultations, appointments can take from 10 to 15 minutes. For surgical dermatology, appointments can take from 15 to 30 minutes. For cosmetic dermatology, appointments can take from 15 minutes to an hour. Your dermatologist will discuss timing for longer appointments, such as surgeries and cosmetic procedures, prior to scheduling the appointment.

Our PAs and Nurse Practitioners are trained to do the same procedures as our doctors.

Many insurance companies require a referral prior to a visit. Please make every effort to check with your insurance company before you come for your appointment.

We do many different laser treatments in our Shelton office. These treatments include but are not limited to the lightening or removal of brown spots, fine lines, acne scarring and tattoo removal. For more information, please call our office to set up your initial consultation.

There are numerous ways for you to request a refill. We find the quickest way for you to refill your prescription is to contact your pharmacy that will in turn send a request to our office. You may also call our office, place a request through our patient portal or message us directly through Klara.

Our dermatologist will generally treat your problem during the same visit depending on the condition. Conditions that require surgical or cosmetic treatments may or may not be treated on the same day as the appointment.

Yes, our pediatric dermatologists treat babies. In addition to Dr. Julie Cantatore and Dr. Brit Craiglow are fellowship trained in pediatric dermatology. They both have special expertise in treating babies and children.

Klara is a way to communicate directly with our office. It is a secure, private and HIPAA-standards compliant app used to reach our doctors and staff. Klara is not a replacement for in-person medical appointments and should not be used in case of an emergency. Instead use Klara to ask non-urgent follow-up questions, to schedule/reschedule appointments, to request refills, to receive test results and to send us a picture of your new insurance card.
