Christina Young is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a dermatology certified nurse practitioner. Christina completed dermatology training with Dr. Zubkov, Dr. Atton, and Dr. Lowenstein at The Dermatology Associates of Glastonbury in Glastonbury, CT. Christina completed primary care training with Dr. Gottiparthy in West Haven, CT, The Internal Medicine Specialists in Waterbury, CT, and The Center for Pediatric Medicine in Danbury, CT. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Christina worked at Yale New Haven Hospital as a registered nurse and has 11 years of varied clinical nursing experiences in general medicine, oncology, gynecology, plastic surgery and ENT surgery. Christina has worked as a clinical instructor for undergraduate nursing students and frequents as a guest speaker for graduate nursing students. Her clinical interests include acne, skin cancer prevention and screening, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Christina is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.

I had an excellent experience with this dermatologist from start to finish. Booking the appointment was incredibly easy and straightforward, which already set a positive tone. Once I arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and I was seen very quickly, no long waits or unnecessary delays.

What really stood out was how efficient and organized everything was. They made it easy to get all of my information over to them without any hassle, and the entire visit felt smooth and well-coordinated.

Most importantly, the dermatologist was honest, thorough, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to address an issue stemming from a walk-in clinic prescribing the wrong medication and clearly explained what needed to be corrected. I left feeling confident that I was finally on the right track, not just for one concern but for two separate health issues that they thoughtfully addressed.
