Lauren E. Provini, MD

Lauren E. Provini, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in pediatric dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Yale University, where she also completed her pre-medical studies, and later graduated from the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Provini completed two years of pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as Chief Resident. She then returned to Yale to complete her fellowship in pediatric dermatology. Before joining Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, she was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine.

As a pediatric dermatologist, Dr. Provini treats infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with various skin conditions, including infantile hemangiomas, port-wine birthmarks, eczema, acne, molluscum contagiosum, warts, and hyperhidrosis. She also uses pulsed dye laser treatment for vascular birthmarks and other vascular conditions in her laser clinic.

Dr. Provini is delighted to care for pediatric patients in her home state of Connecticut and is dedicated to helping children feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
