Lauren E. Provini, MD

Lauren E. Provini, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with specialization in pediatric dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Yale University, where she also did her pre-medical studies. She graduated from the Yale School of Medicine. She then went on to complete 2 years of residency training in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also served as Chief Resident. She returned to Yale to complete her fellowship in pediatric dermatology. Prior to joining Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, she served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine.

As a pediatric dermatologist, Dr. Provini cares for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide variety of skin conditions. These range from infantile hemangiomas and port-wine birthmarks to eczema, acne, molluscum contagiosum, warts, hyperhidrosis, and beyond. She also treats patients with vascular birthmarks and other vascular conditions with pulsed dye laser in her laser clinic.

Dr. Provini is thrilled to be caring for pediatric patients in her home state of Connecticut. She is committed to helping children feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
